Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is inviting local SMEs to join our Republic of Ireland Trade Programme - a practical, results-driven opportunity designed to help you successfully enter and win business in the Republic of Ireland market.

What’s Included:

✔ Bespoke mentoring support to prepare you to sell confidently in the Republic of Ireland (ROI)
✔ Sales prospecting on your behalf — securing 4 sales meetings with real prospective customers in ROI
✔ A 2-night, 3-day trade mission, including hotel accommodation and breakfast (planned for 12th-14th May)
✔ A business networking dinner with local businesses, elected representatives, Irish business owners and key stakeholders
✔ 2 in-person export-focused workshops to build the practical skills needed to sell successfully

This programme is designed to give you real market access, not just export advice.

Eligibility Criteria:

To take part, your business must:

  • Be based in the Lisburn and Castlereagh Council

  • Be an SME (under 250 employees)

  • Have the potential to create at least 1 job in the next 12 months

  • Have an export-ready product or service suitable for the Republic of Ireland market

  • Have access to your own transport for the trade mission and sales meetings 

Participant contribution: £280
